Taking Time To Reflect

I’m working on an exciting project which has challenged me on many levels.  I love it yet at the same time it frustrates the hell out of me.

When I’m learning and applying new skills I sometimes forget to reflect on the progress I’ve made; focusing instead on my frustration at not being faster, smarter etc.

I’m always encouraging others to reflect on and celebrate their achievements but when it comes to me…

To encourage me to be more generous with myself I came up with this mini mantra:

Remember Every Footstep is Leading you Ever Closer To your goal.

I know it’s a bit cheesy but sometimes it just has to be done.
