Years ago, before Career Energiser, The Innovate Approach and Re-energising Your Career, I formulated a philosophy for learning and development. Or so I thought!
My initial ideas were shared on the TEDx stage.
As time progressed and my practitioner insights increased, I realised it was so much more.
A way to realise your own value.
A means of managing The Value Vortex
A foundation from which to grow.
Because…
… making career moves, thriving in a dynamic world, investing in your professional development are made more challenging if you don’t believe in or value yourself and your capabilities.
… inadvertently, you can become your own worst enemy; blinded to and blocking opportunities; fixed and fearful of change.
And the name of this philosophy?

Top Tips
Perspective – Nurture your innate creativity. Remember it’s a capability; it’s how you perceive and interact with the world. Imagine, flip it, experiment, play.
Purpose – Create a pole-star vision; a fuzzy goal. Something which motivates the general direction of your decisions and actions, without blinding you to opportunities as you move forward.
Possibilities – Design your own opportunity meter; your must-haves and your deal-breakers. Identify what matters and what you need to help you make informed decisions.
Potential – Build your belief in your value, to yourself and others, by digging deeper than points for a CV. Go wider and more expansive to paint a richer picture.
People – Know your precious people mix; your trusted confidants and true pals. And remember, it’s the quality not the quantity that matters!!
Adapting and evolving is what helps you thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing world.
And I’m glad The Diamond Effect® has evolved too.
Realising your value helps you build and nurture self-confidence and self-belief.
And The Diamond Effect® will help you be a Brilliant Asset; wherever you go whatever you do.
