When your cunning plans are de-railed, it can be a challenge to stay positive or see a way forward.
Which is, of course, understandable… and human.
For me, it’s creativity and creative thinking which help me to move forward.
Help me get out of tricky situations or make new moves or decisions.
OK, so I’m a creativity champion.
However, not everyone feels the same.
Creative misunderstandings
Even though creativity is a natural capability within us all, it can often be misunderstood and under-utilised.
Associations with being artistic have lead some people to think they are not creative because they aren’t artistic. When being artistic is one expression of creativity… not creativity itself.
Ultimately, it is how we perceive, interpret and interact with the world.
It’s a capability we all have and can continually develop.
Creative confidence
When career challenge comes along or you want to reinvent, it’s creativity and creative thinking which help you imagine a new future for yourself; create ideas for the ‘what’ then the ‘how’.
They enable you to turn career challenge into career opportunity.
