Been thinking about loyalty. Sparked by recent events and comments made by Jeremy Gutsche in one of his TrendHunter webinars.
Loyalty to friends and families; to fellow team members is to be valued. It is part of what makes relationships stronger.
Commitment to a company or a career path is what helps you gain momentum and achieve results.
But what if your loyalty is misplaced?
You’ve changed; the company you work for has changed; ideas which were once relevant are now out of step.
Blindly staying loyal; holding on to the past can really hamper your career aspirations and progress.
Be thankful for the decisions you’ve made so far, wave goodbye to out-dated ideas; say hello to new opportunities. The ones where your loyalty will be an asset once again.
