Background and inspiration
The Brilliantly You masterclass is created and facilitated by me, Dr Elaine.
It recognises the special unique upsides of the doctoral learning experience, plus the quirky challenges faced and their benefit.
It is inspired by my personal, varied career experiences combined with insights from helping others invest in their professional development and career progression.
Having used my PhD in chemistry as a springboard to start my career, I have moved from researcher to industrial chemist to corporate business leader to Indie Career Energiser and Co-founder of the Re-energising Your Career Hub.
A lifelong-learning champion and an entrepreneurial experimenter, I like to say I’ve gone from boilersuit to boardroom and beyond.
